Wheel Skills Mondays 4A with Amelia Bell

Class | Registration closed 7/13/2026

About the class:

Already know the basics of wheel throwing? We will start exploring more complex forms in this 6-week course. Students will explore an expanded range of forms such as lidded or pouring vessels, and class demos will be provided to fit students’ specific areas of interest. Students will take home several finished pieces and expanded skills for greater wheel confidence.

This session is offered on Mondays from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

About the OAC Ceramic Studio:  You'll enjoy our professional, comfortable ceramics studio with wheel classes with a low student-teacher ratio (limited to just 6 participants order to maximize the attention each student gets from the instructor).  Our students enjoy hands-on experience shared with like-minded creatives in a friendly and relaxed environment.  Choose from a variety of classes led by our teaching artists and enjoy our stunning views of Lake Michigan while you work!  The Oliver Art Center Ceramics Studio is the place to learn and have fun year-round!

What's included:
  • 18 hours of instruction with artist Amelia Bell
  • Weekly Student Lab Time
  • Use of studio tools and equipment
  • Up to 12 lbs. of clay (more available for purchase, no outside clay)
  • Assorted studio glazes
