Discover Hand Building II: 1-Day Intro to Hand Building with Kathy DeVine

Interested in learning about working with clay? Join us in the Ceramic Studio for this fun discovery workshop and explore the world of handbuilding! After a demo, we will practice making a pinch pot and a fun tea light holder while learning about the properties of clay. Fired work can be picked up about a week later.
All supplies included.
All levels, age 16+ (younger students can register with a registered parent.)

Having retired from a rewarding career in healthcare, Kathy has opened her ceramics studio in Michigan where she creates one-of-a-kind pieces of both functional and decorative stoneware and porcelain. She plans to continue following her passion for color and creativity while exploring all that ceramics can be. She will be teaching a series of workshops throughout the summer at Oliver Art Center.
