Make your first wheel-thrown bowl! This introduction to ceramics allows those who are curious about working with clay to try their hand at wheel throwing in a fun, relaxed environment. Join us for this two-hour discovery workshop, which includes a demo and step-by-step guidance to help you create your first pot! Fired work can be picked up about a week later.

All levels, age 16+ (younger students can register with a registered parent.)
Kathleen DeVine
Having retired from a rewarding career in healthcare, Kathy has opened her ceramics studio in Michigan where she creates one-of-a-kind pieces of both functional and decorative stoneware and porcelain. She plans to continue following her passion for color and creativity while exploring all that ceramics can be. She will be teaching a series of workshops throughout the summer at Oliver Art Center.
