Around the World - Creative Kids Camp Week 3

Pack your bags for a global creative adventure! Young explorers ages 8 and up will trek across continents and centuries through the power of art. Whether they're mastering the storytelling secrets of Western Australian Desert dot art, designing custom Egyptian cartouches, learning the code of ancient Maya glyphs, or trying their hands at Native American style sand art, campers will dive deep in to the history and techniques of iconic cultures. It's the perfect boarding pass for curious creators who are ready to discover how the world's cultures share stories through art.

Karla Haan
Karla Haan is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. Karla received a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Monterrey (UDEM) in 1995. While pursuing work in advertising design, Karla nurtured her passion for painting by taking seminars at the famous Casa de La Cultura de Nuevo Leon in México. She has exhibited her work within Mexico and internationally. Karla now resides in Benzonia, Michigan and is an art teacher at New Covenant Christian Academy.
