Power of Light: Photography Studio Fundamentals with Chani Devers
Class | Available
In this intermediate class, students will learn the language of light and how it is used as an integral tool to create images with impact. On day one, participants will expand their understanding of the qualities of light in order to apply professional lighting techniques to their subjects. Led by multi-faceted photographer Chani Devers, we will explore ways to shape our subject with light, direct the viewer to see through our eyes, and make images that tell a story. On our off time, we will practice creating a studio shot of our own around the assigned topic of light, to be shared and evaluated on day two.
Students should bring their digital camera and a standard 50mm, zoom, or macro lens
to class.
All other supplies included. Intermediate level, age 18+.
