Class | Available

This is a 2-day workshop.

Day 1:  Wednesday July 29, 10am-1pm
Day 2:  Saturday  August 1, 10am-1pm

This workshop will explore throwing plates on the wheel. Students with basic throwing skills under their belts will learn to throw, trim, and decorate plates and platters.  Day one will be for throwing the form, and day 2 will focus on trimming and finishing.  Projects will be bisque-fired when fully dry.  Students enrolled in a ceramics class may do their glazing during their lab time.  Those who are not currently enrolled in a class may select a glaze color from our collection and the instructor will take care of the glazing.  Glaze-fired pieces can be picked up the following week.

All supplies included.  Intermediate level, age 18+.
