Beginning Encaustic with Wendy Bedolla

Discover a new way of expressing your creativity! Encaustic painting uses pigmented hot wax to create a unique, textured work. This beginner’s class will focus on the basics of using the wax and creating texture. We will discuss the many options and mixed media that can be incorporated into the wax to achieve different results. But beware – you may get hooked!
All supplies included.

Wendy Bedolla
Wendy Bedolla has been working in fused glass for 18 years. While juggling being an artist, working full-time as an interior designer, and being a mom, Wendy’s work has been featured in many gift shops around the country and on the art fair circuit. She also works in ceramics and mixed media, and recently discovered a love for encaustics.
