From starting a piece with intention, (measure measure measure!) to understanding drying, trimming issues, and focusing on the bottom, to tracking your results - each step helps you learn how to finish your work like a pro! Tips, and tools will be shared in this one-day workshop. All levels welcome, age 14 and up.
Kathleen DeVine
Having retired from a rewarding career in healthcare, Kathy has opened her ceramics studio in Michigan where she creates one-of-a-kind pieces of both functional and decorative stoneware and porcelain. She plans to continue following her passion for color and creativity while exploring all that ceramics can be. She will be teaching a series of workshops throughout the summer at Oliver Art Center.
