Katie Ward
Katie Ward is a multi-media artist who spends her summers in Frankfort, Michigan, where she draws inspiration from the natural world around her. Her playful colorful creations (acrylic on canvas paintings and mixed-media assemblages), filled with animals, flowers, and charm - bring a sense of joy and wonder to any space. A self-taught artist with a background in elementary education (7 years), Katie blends imagination and nature to craft work that feels like storybook magic come to life.
She was recently the lead artist in "The Mad Hatter's Garden Party" exhibit in the Fisher Room at Oliver Art Center. Visitors can see some examples of her flowers on display in the second floor Creative Space at the art center.
