Class Description: Lakeshore Inspired Felted Vessels with Kathy Forzley
Class | Available
Students will learn to use wet felting techniques to create a 3-dimensional vessel using wool fiber & embellishments over a flat resist. The wool fiber will be transformed into a solid form by adding soapy water and rubbing and rolling the surface before molding into a 3-D shape. Students are welcome to bring a found object (small piece of driftwood or other natural element) to incorporate into their design. All participants will leave with a vessel that can be embellished with beads, hand stitching or other elements once it is dry.
All levels - ages 18 +
Supplies to bring: Please bring 2-3 old bath towels.
