ARTIST STATEMENT:
My artistic focus centers on exploring the beauty of natural form and embracing unrestricted creativity. I am an experimental mixed media artist. I allow myself to become fully immersed in the creative process without constraints or limitations. I paint from the memory of what I have seen or sketched along my travels and spend a season exploring a specific medium or technique, usually producing 20-plus works of art. I believe everyone possesses innate creativity, and art serves as a tool for overcoming self-imposed fears, such as fear of comparison, failure, or the unknown. I focus on teaching workshops that help beginners and seasoned artists explore new mediums, gaining insights into the various tools and learning valuable tips for success.
