Learn to turn with carbide tools! Have you ever wanted to explore wood turning but found it intimidating? Then this is the class for you. Carbide tools are a safer introduction to wood turning, allowing the user to gain skills to take with them into traditional woodturning. Learn about basic shop safety, the functions of the lathe, and how to prepare and turn wood to make pens and a pencil.

Megan (Berryville, AR) received her BFA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin and MFA in Studio Art from Indiana University Bloomington. After a career in higher education, she now coordinates workshops at the Eureka Springs School of the Arts.
