Weaving the Circle

Explore the foundations of circle weaving in an encouraging, playful, and experimental workshop. Students will learn about different fibers and their properties, how to assemble and warp a round loom, and basic weaving and finishing techniques. Each student will create a small woven circle wall hanging.
Dawn Ward
Dawn (Eureka Springs, AR) works in a variety of media including digital photography, printmaking, sculpture and fiber art. Her current work is in mixed media fiber incorporating upcycled, recycled and foraged materials. She has taught studio classes and workshops for over 26 years and exhibits her work in local and national venues.
