Workshop | Registration opens 12/2/2026 10:00 AM CDT
Alicia will teach her loose and light-filled style of painting using a variety of subject matter based on the landscape.. She will emphasize great design elements in order to help students create more dramatic and emotional paintings. Alicia meets each student where they are in their painting journey. Students will benefit from plenty of one-on-one as well as group and individual discussion. Basic knowledge of watercolor is suggested.
Alicia Farris
Alicia’s (Springfield, MO) artistic journey began when she was a child when she was inspired by color and beautiful shapes in everything she saw. She adores sharing her passion for painting in water media as she feels artists share a special sense for both seeing and feeling their subjects. Alicia’s work has been featured and recognized in numerous National and International exhibitions including TWSA, WHS, NWS, Watercolor West, Women in Watercolor and others, and published in Splash, Best of Watercolor, Watercolor Artist and Art of Watercolour, Missouri Life, and Signature Magazines.
