S26-06 Using Myers-Briggs in Everyday Life
Class | Available (Membership Required)
Using Myers-Briggs (MBTI) in everyday life involves leveraging self-awareness for personal growth and understanding communication styles for better relationships, but it’s crucial to see it as a helpful guide, not a rigid label, appreciating individual differences while recognizing strengths and stress triggers. It helps shift blame to understanding, improves problem-solving by considering other perspectives, and provides frameworks for navigating family, friends, and work by appreciating different preferences. Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers, created the popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a personality assessment based on Carl Jung’s theories, to help people understand themselves and others better. All registrants will be given the indicator to take prior to class and Lois will compile the results for each registrant.
