This immersive two-day course provides a deep dive into managing requirements within a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach. Participants will explore key concepts, best practices, and SysML techniques to define, analyze, and manage requirements effectively.
The course begins with a review of relevant ISO standards and the distinction between Concept of Operations (ConOps) and Operational Concept (OpCon). Attendees will learn how to analyze stakeholder needs, apply verification methods, and define essential requirement rules.
Hands-on exercises will guide participants through SysML requirement modeling, including requirement syntax, creating custom stereotypes for requirement import, generating and exporting requirement tables, analyzing requirement coverage, assessing the impact of changes, and developing a requirement terms glossary.
By the end of the course, participants will have the skills to integrate requirements into a Cameo model and ensure traceability, consistency, and completeness in their MBSE workflows.
