LEATHER I/II CRAFTING WORKSHOP WEEKEND
INSTRUCTOR: TOM SLAVICEK Friday 5pm to 9pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm
A wonderful way to get introduced to the fun of leather crafting! You’ll have time to make two projects, maybe more depending on size and complexity. Choose two from this list: leather shoulder bag, large phone pouch with braided strap, small tote bag, journal cover, smaller phone pouch with braided strap, leather belt. You may also learn how to add artwork to your piece and colorize it. No experience needed, just a desire to have fun and make something beautiful. The class fee includes all leathers, instructions, use of tools, etc.

*WH TUITION: $100 Includes Breakfast and Boxed Lunch. No additional charge for lodging if taking a class the week before or after, $60 lodging fee if needed. Please email sharon@lapidaryschool.org to arrange lodging.
Tom Slavicek
Tom earned his Leatherworking Merit Badge on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout. After a 37-year career as an executive director for the Boy Scouts of America, Tom and his wife, Karen, retired to Dahlonega, GA. Tom has been crafting bags and pouches since 1985. Tom and Karen participate in numerous Art shows each year, and Tom teaches leather classes throughout the region. Contact: tslavicek@aol.com.
