Flame Painting on Copper II - Bob Hohn

INTERMEDIATE FLAME PAINTING ON COPPER

INSTRUCTOR: BOB HOHN

This intermediate class will take your Flame Painting On Copper to a new level. We will be working with 3 dimensional ideas and layering of copper, which is a totally different perspective than your work in your first Flame Painting Class. We will be placing more concentrated effort on the construction part of your finished piece to be flame painted.

We will work on 3 basic project ideas:

  1. A multi piece jewelry item
  2. A large-scale butterfly or bird idea
  3. A 3D structural item, which may include several ways of construction and piecing all the puzzle parts together after flame painting is completed.

Our individual pieces will be either soldered, chain linked, fold formed, or riveted together.

This will give us the most flexible ways of constructing our finished projects.

This class will not be as hard as it may sound. It only requires you to think creatively outside the box.

How fun!

NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE TEACHING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF FLAME PAINTING IN THIS CLASS. It would be helpful to practice your basics prior to coming to this class.

Class Fee: $250. Which includes all copper and misc. materials to complete 3 projects.  Additional copper materials will be on hand to purchase if needed.

Prerequisites: A basic Flame Painting Class taken at William Holland, or permission from myself prior to registration.
