STAINED GLASS: DAZZLE & DELIGHT! Kaleidoscope and Treasure Boxes

INSTRUCTOR: STEPHANIE DANZ

 

You'll be creating a treasure box using beveled and stained glass to complete

this project. You can bring small embellishments to adorn your box and I will have

some trinkets as well. In addition to your box, we'll be creating a dazzling kaleidoscope with additional embellishments on the body of the scope.

 

This is a fun class and I encourage you to bring your sparkly vision with you!

Experience with stained glass skills (cutting glass, foiling, soldering) preferred, but not required. Pictures are for interest.:

 

Class Fee: $275 (payable to instructor)

Estimated Materials Fee: $25+

Stephanie lives in Fayetteville, WV next door to the newest national park in our park system. The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve supplies plenty of inspiration for her one-of-a-kind landscape pieces. Having 33 years of stained glass experience as a teacher, jurist for fine craft and juried artisan, Stephanie enjoys teaching and sharing her expertise with budding artists and colleagues alike.

Presently, she creates pieces for the National Park Gift Shop, Tamarack – the Best of West Virginia, shops in Fayetteville, and commissions for residential and church venues. When time allows, she also gives two day workshops in her home studio with one-on-one instruction. Some of her gift items are one of kind kaleidoscopes, jewelry, treasure boxes and more.
