FACETING II: ART STONES AND MORE ADVANCED DESIGNS: OVALS, PEARS, CUSHIONS, ANTIQUE CUSHION AND ART STONE DESIGNS

This course is a skill development class to expand your faceted skills. You will learn to facet the more complex designs of Ovals, Pears, Cushions, Antique Cushion and art stone designs. This class is for more experienced faceters. In this class continue your skills development with more challenging meet point designs. Students will get a kit with my book on faceting Ovals, Pears, Cushions, Antique Cushion and art stone designs. During class you will learn how to preform stones to save time and effort. Also included are tips on what makes a good design for these shaped gems from an artistic point of view and current market trends for these gems. Also will be included using different indexes and their advantages. Also there will be Batts laps and Diamond pastes for Rubies, Sapphires, Garnets and Topaz #Ovals, #Pears, #Cushions, #Antique Cushions, #Art Stones

Growing up, I went into mines and collected stones with my mother and Father. Later in life I started faceting and making jewelry. In 2018, I discovered the William Holland School and took courses in faceting and jewelry making. I was hooked. I explored and enjoyed doing Sapphires and Rubies in 2019.
