Micro Mosaic Jewelry I
INSTRUCTOR: KASKA FIROR

In this workshop students will learn how to use stained glass, ceramic tiles, beads, and tiny objects to create small mosaics.  We will make rings, earrings, bracelets, and pendants.   Students will practice skills for cutting glass and ceramic tiles, then explore techniques for adhering the tiles, and for grouting. We will use pre-made jewelry mosaic frames to learn the techniques.  The lab fee covers all the handouts, 12 pre-made frames (lots to choose from), all the materials to create the 12 mosaics, as well as use of tools and consumables.  I will be bringing an extensive collection of glass beads of many different shapes, colorful stained glass, charms, glass and stone nuggets, and other items for your use.  There will be a small fee for each additional mosaic students might wish to make.  You can also bring your own materials to create the extra pieces.  I will contact students a few weeks before class with a list of required tools. Please visit www.DesignsbyKaska.com and www.Facebook.com/DesignsbyKaska  to see my work.   Should you have any questions, contact me at kaska@designsbykaska.com
