SILVER II: HOLLOW FORMS
INSTRUCTOR: DEBORA MAUSER
Focus on advancing your soldering skills by creating hollow forms. Starting with beads often called Navajo Pearls and a lentil bead, students will advance into more complicated forms. Learn to use a disc cutter, doming and dapping tools. We will create a hollow form pendant with a stone top, a pillow shape and finally fabricate a hollow form ring. Students should be proficient in soldering. The class fee includes consumables and silver for the lentil bead. Silver for beads, pendants and rings will be purchased from the teacher and the cost depends on your design.

Debora Mauser
Debora Mauser is a self-taught jewelry artist working in mixed metals, stones and enamel. She is a nationally known instructor teaching at large venues, shows and bead stores as well as schools on the east coast. You can find her work in magazines like Step by Step Wire; Craft, Paper, Scissors; Enameling by F&W publishing, as well as online video and classes with Craftsy and Craftcast. Debora’s classes are low key, but packed with techniques and information. She loves to support her students and their designs with creative options in each class.
