I have been interested in geology and collecting rocks and minerals since I was a small child and I see no reason to stop now. I have a B.S. from Stephen of Austin State University in Geology and M.S. from Our Lady of the Lake University in Integrated Sciences. I have retired from teaching school after 30 years in the classroom, mainly in the sciences. My interest in lapidary has grown over the years as well. My wife and I have been collecting and working with rocks and minerals for over 30 plus years with my two daughters. I enjoy sharing what I know about geology with others.
