This course will use the following textbooks used in Italian schools for the first year of middle school: Il sognalibro, Attraverso la Storia, and Io dico, tu dici. The course will focus on communication skills, grammar, reading, and Italian culture.

Classes are scheduled to meet on the following dates, but are subject to change due to snow days or special events. There will be 30 classes total.

No classes:

December 14, 21 and 28, 2026 – Winter Break
February 15, 2027 – Presidents’ Day
March 29, 2027 – Spring Break/Easter Monday
May 31, 2027 – Memorial Day

For new students joining in January, there will be 18 classes for the second half of the school year; tuition will be adjusted for registration in January.
