Italiani d'America is a high-intermediate/advanced reading and conversation course exploring the Italian language through the personal stories of the thousands of women and men who emigrated from the Bel Paese between 1870 and 1940 in search of the American Dream. Diaries, letters, events, recipes, and traditions come together to tell a collective story that shaped the culture and life of both the United States and Italy.
