SITUAZIONE DI PARTENZA: This is a continuation of Italian Beginner (A1). Students know how to conjugate verbs in the present indicative and the past tense (passato prossimo); how to introduce themselves, ask for directions, give information about their job, daily routine, family, and mention past events and activities.

OBIETTIVI: You will learn how to further express yourself in the past tense by using the imperfect tense; how to give orders and advise (imperative); how to make comparisons and interact when shopping;  talk about movies and cinema. The grammar will focus on nouns, adjectives, articles, present, past, and imperfect tenses of both regular and irregular verbs, including reflexive verbs, as well as the imperative and the conditional modes. It will also cover direct and indirect object pronouns, prepositions, comparatives and the “si” impersonal form.
