SITUAZIONE DI PARTENZA: This is a continuation of Italian Elementary 2 (A2). Students already know how to use present tense, past tense (passato prossimo and imperfetto), simple future, present conditional, and formal and informal imperative. Students can already extend, accept, and decline invitations; make polite requests, express surprise, or regret, and give commands and advice. Students can also talk about travel, food, and heating habits as well as health and wellness.

OBIETTIVI: Learn how to make hypothesis and form hypothetical clauses (periodo ipotetico della realtà); improve communication skills and storytelling abilities by reviewing imperfetto and passato prossimo; learn how to use congiuntivo presente to express personal opinions or wishes; learn how to make comparisons using più…di/che. Students will also acquire new vocabulary to talk about work, professions, homes, and apartments.
