Italian Cultural Society / Italian Language Program Summer Camp

The ICS Summer Camp is an immersion program designed to engage children in speaking Italian through a variety of fun and interactive activities. Your children will practice the language while singing, cooking, playing traditional Italian games, and completing creative art projects.

Location:
Activities take place both indoors at the Italian Cultural Society (4833-Rugby Ave., suite 201, Bethesda, MD 20814), and outdoors at the Battery Lane Park, conveniently located near the ICS at 4960 Battery Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814

Daily Schedule:

• 9:00 am – 9:15 am: Drop-off
• 9:15 am – 10:00 am: Language class: Reading, writing, singing, and building vocabulary and grammatical structures 
• 10:00 am – 11:00 am: Outdoor activities + small snack
• 11:10 am – 12:30 pm: Creative project
• 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch
• 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Outdoor play
• 1:40 pm – 2:50 pm: Indoor games
• 2:50 pm – 3:30 pm: Video + dismissal

** Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available with advanced request; cost is $25/hr.

Additional Notes:
The program is designed to balance structured language learning with outdoor play and hands-on activities, ensuring an enjoyable and immersive experience for your children.

Children are required to bring their own lunch and snack.
