Ceramics for Beginners
Workshop | Available
Explore fundamental wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques in this beginning ceramics workshop. Create functional pottery like cups, mugs, plates, and bowls using the wheel, and experiment with slab, coil, and pinch methods for hand-built forms. This is a supportive and fun environment in which to develop a new skill.
PLEASE NOTE: Workshop runs 5 days 11/19 - 11/23 with a glaze day 2 weeks later on Sunday, 12/7 where students can glaze their bisque fired pieces.
Firing is included with tuition for a set amount of work, per guidelines of the kiln firing agreement. Pieces may be picked up at a later date. Shipping is on a case by case basis and requires an additional fee.
