Bowl Turning: Developing An Eye for Fine Form at the Lathe

Workshop | Available

Develop finesse, technique, and tool control while turning a variety of forms. You will learn the advantages of traditional woodturning tools, and how focused practice produces the skills needed to cut surfaces cleanly off the tool. Achieve a greater level of craftsmanship with advanced tool modifications and usage. Students should provide their own tools for any advanced modifications. Prior woodturning experience will be helpful.

  • For the tool modification portion of the workshop, students will need to bring their own tools to modify.
