Explore the variety of ways to make lids, handles, and spouts. This workshop will focus on lid making, but what's a lidded pot without a spout? By the end of this workshop, you will come away with a better understanding on different ways to make lids, how to make spouts, and you'll figure out your handle making preference with help and instruction from a seasoned potter.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP RUNS FROM FRIDAY 4/11/25 TO SUNDAY 4/13/25. YOU WILL RETURN SATURDAY 4/26/25 TO GLAZE YOUR WORK(S) IN PREPARATION FOR FIRING.
Beth Rosenkoetter
Beth (Hartville, MO) is going on 25 years as a potter and a lifetime as an artist. She gave herself about 5 years of practice and experience before she started teaching, which she has been doing for roughly 20 years. Beth runs a teaching studio in the rural town of Hartville, Missouri. She spends her time teaching pottery on the wheel, handbuilding, with the occaisional painting class and creating her own line of work.
