Make a Spoon Carving Knife

Workshop | Available

The challenging part of carving a spoon is getting the bowl just right. In this class, you will make your own spoon carving knife, and you will use these unique tools to hollow the bowl shape. Explore the iron studio to make the blades, then utilize the woodshop to handle and finish the knives and take them for a test carving exercise using cedar to make our spoons.  Get a taste of building skills in two studios and take home a finished tool that will last a lifetime.
