The Abbreviated Educational Evaluation will provide information to determine if the Orton-Gillingham approach is likely to be useful in helping the student.

For those who go on to enroll in tutoring at The Reading Center, the information collected is very useful for the tutor to be effective and efficient.

The family will have an opportunity to discuss findings with the tester; however, no written report or documentation beyond the test score profile will be provided for the family.

A $100 DEPOSIT IS DUE UPON COMPLETION OF THIS REGISTRATION. The balance of $477.00 is due upon scheduling a date with the Scheduling Coordinator.

Abbreviated Evaluation time is an estimated 3 - 4 hours.

Appointments are scheduled Monday - Friday (no weekends) and generally begin at 9:30 a.m. CST.

A separate date will be arranged for an online post-evaluation parent conference to gather additional information and discuss the findings. The maximum conference duration is 1.5 hours. (There is no additional cost for this conference.) The evaluator will arrange conference scheduling.

Please note that The Reading Center is a training institution, and your child's evaluation may be observed by an evaluator-in-training.
