9:30 AM-11:00 AM EDT on Wed

We will listen to and enjoy well-known symphonic compositions by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, and others. We will study major musical forms in orchestral writing, how works were influenced by the culture, and why they are so memorable. Our musical journey will be supplemented by lectures from The Learning Company and other web materials.
