F25-42 - GENESIS SPEAKS TO US!

Class | Registration opens 9/2/2025 9:00 AM

Genesis, the opening book of the Bible, contains stories that have charmed children since antiquity. These stories, however, were primarily meant to address profound questions asked by adults: e.g., “What was God’s purpose in creating the universe?” “Why was the human being created?” “Why is there such suffering and evil in the world?” “What makes some behaviors righteous and others immoral?” “Is there hope for humankind?”
“Where can one find true happiness?”
Join us on 6 consecutive Friday mornings as we explore the stories of Genesis from an adult perspective. This
class is the fruit of Rabbi Wainhaus’ forty-four years of discussing the bible with people of all faiths.

Rabbi Alvin Wainhaus
