S25-23 The Food We Eat
Class | Registration opens 3/3/2025 9:00 AM
Many of the foods that we eat are genetically modified, or contain genetically modified ingredients. While such modifications are important for improving crop yields and crop survival, many people are concerned about consuming genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In this lecture, we will explore what it means to be a GMO, and we will examine the benefits that GMOs provide. We will also dive into the concerns that exist with GMO production and consumption, and attempt to determine whether these concerns are founded, or fictional.
