Join us for a free, docent-led tour of Handwork: Contemporary Craft at the Renwick Gallery. Following a temporary closure to completely reimagine the space, the Renwick Gallery is pulling back the curtain on its most spectacular contemporary craft acquisition initiative yet. Together, we will explore over 50 magnificent collection works - ranging from textiles and woodwork to mixed-media pieces that celebrate the absolute best of American craftsmanship.
Registration is required: Encore Learning membership must be valid through the event date to register. This event is limited to 20 registrants. If the event fills up, there will be a waiting list. If you choose to be on the waiting list, you will be notified prior to the event if space opens up and you will be able to join the event.
Directions/transportation: The Renwick is located at Pennsylvania Avenue at 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006. The nearest Metro stops are Farragut West and Farragut North. There are several paid parking garages in the area.
We hope you will join us for lunch after the tour at Immigrant Food, a half block from the Renwick.
