In this four-week online course, we will consider some of Hitchcock’s very best films, focusing on two films each week that share a common theme. Students will receive a list of films in advance and should watch them on their own before each class; all the films are available to rent inexpensively online. In class, we will look at brief film clips and discuss key motifs.
