Heartsaver First-Aid/CPR/AED class

The Heartsaver First-Aid\CPR\AED class is a classroom based class, with video lessons, instructor-led lessons and lots of hands practice. The class is geared towards students with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion certification for CPR, AED and\or First-Aid to meet job regulatory and\or other requirements.

The class is also available to the general public for anyone wanting CPR, AED and First-Aid training.

The course teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.

Students learn skills such as

  • CPR and AED use for adults, infants and children
  • How to treat bleeding
  • How to treat sprains
  • How to treat broken bones
  • How to treat shock and other first aid emergencies

  • Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED/First-Aide Certification, valid for two years.
  • The First Aid/CPR/AED manual is included in the cost of the class and will be available from the instructor at the start of class.
