Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (1 day - fast track). This is one day of instructor-led classroom time, skills testing, and an online exam. Requires pre-course work. This TNCC only option is for registered nurses (or the equivalent as defined by the student’s country of practice). Although not required, prior experience with the Trauma Nursing Process is ideal. Receive 4-year verification.

An ENA TNCC four-year provider verification card will be issued to those registered nurses who achieve 80% or higher on the multiple-choice exam and 70% or higher on the skill station evaluation.

  • Completion of the pre-course modules prior to the classroom portion is required. Completion of the pre-course modules can take several hours so students are encouraged to have it completed no less than 3 days prior to the class in case there are any technical issues. Access to the pre-course modules is initiated from the email you receive from courseops@ena.org.

    All students are required to have their own copy of the TNCC Provider Manual 8th Edition. This will be available for purchase during the registration process. It is not included as part of the registration fee. 

    The optional TNCC Student workbook will be available for purchase at the class for $32.00. This is not a substitute for the TNCC Provider Manual. It can also be purchased directly from ENA at https://www.ena.org/education/tncc.
