Class Description: Let it go! Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff on this magical ice-filled musical adventure adapted from the original animated movie, Frozen.
Program Type: Our “Black Box Series” invites students to rehearse and perform a play/musical, take part in theater workshops, and create props and set pieces. The program culminates in a performance in the Sunrise Theater!
Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes
Location Information: The entire program will take place at Madison Youth Arts, 1055 East Mifflin Street.
# of Students in Class: 24-26 students. This program is staffed by 3 professional Teaching Artists, 1 Teaching Assistant Intern, and one Stage Management Fellow.
Experience Expectations: Beginners and students with acting experience welcome, though this program is tailored for students with some acting experience.
