Class Description: Explore the Hundred Acre Wood with Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh, and all of their friends! This Creative Drama class explores the world of the Hundred Acre Wood through music, movement, creative storytelling, and crafts. NOTE: STUDENTS MUST BE 4YRS OLD BY AUGUST 14TH TO REGISTER.

Program Type: This program invites students to learn creative drama, improvisation and storytelling skills. The program culminates in a sharing for families.

Students will: - Build acting, performance, & theater skills - Participate in a collaborative theater-making process based on the theme of the class - Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community - Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance - Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes

Location Information: Madison Youth Arts, 1055 East Mifflin Street.

# of Students in Class: 15-18 students. Staffed by 2 professional Teaching Artists and 1 Teaching Assistant Intern.

Experience Expectations: We welcome students of all experience and ability levels, though this program is tailored for beginners.
