Class Description: Great first time theater experience, or for students who want to brush up some skills! Hone your actor’s tools of voice, body and imagination through acting exercises and workshops in this interactive class! Students will take creative risks, work as an ensemble, and focus on both group work and individual skill building.

Program Type: In this process based program, students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative process
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes.

Class Location Information: The program will take place at MYArts, 1055 East Mifflin Street, Madison. There is free street parking and also $2/hr parking at MYArts. There is a community space where families can wait while their student is in class.

First Day Information: On the first day of the program, there will be a brief orientation for parents.

# of Students in Class: 13-15 students. There is 1 professional teaching artist. Experience Expectations: Previous acting experience is strongly recommended.

Final Sharing: March 11, 2023 at MYArts Center. Family and friends are welcome!
