Music by Robert Reale; Music & Lyrics by Willie Reale; Based on the Books by Arnold Lobel; A Year with Frog and Toad Kids is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
Program Type: This 2 week program invites students to perform a play and take part in workshops in music, dance and acting in addition to their rehearsals. Opportunities to create prop and set items are also a part of this program.
Students will:
Build acting, performance, & theater skills; Participate in a collaborative theater-making process; Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community; Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance; Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes
Location: Madison Youth Arts, 1055 East Mifflin Street.
# of Students: 25-28. There are 3 professional teaching artists, 1 Teaching Assistant Intern, & 1 Stage Management Fellow.
Beginners and students with acting experience welcome.
