Class Description: Come join us for the summertime version of our popular studio class! In this virtual musical theater program, sing & dance your way through classic & contemporary show tunes, expand your knowledge of musical theater, & perform a medley on the final day of class!

Program Type: This two-week program is ideal for theater enthusiasts who want a more in depth experience focusing on a particular aspect of theater. Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes

Log On Information: The Platforms used for this program are Google Classroom and Zoom. You will need an @gmail domain email to access the Google Classroom. Email education@ctmtheater.org if that is not an option for you.

# of Students: 15-20 students. There are 2 professional teaching artists, 1 Teaching Assistant & 1 High School Intern.

Experience Expectations: We welcome students of all experience and ability levels to register.

9:15 – 10:00 Music Workshop
10:00-10:05 Break
10:05-10:50- Acting Workshop
10:50-12:00- Rehearsal
12:00-12:15 - Acknowledgements & Set up Asynchronous Projects and Recordings
12:15 Dismissal

Final Showcase: We will hold a virtual final sharing on the last day of the program. More info to come two weeks prior to class.
