Class Description: This entertaining adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famed detective story combines mystery, romance, and laughter. The game’s afoot!

Program Type: 2 Week, Virtual Theater Experience.

Students will:

- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes

Log In Information: Our Virtual classes will take place over zoom, google classroom, and flipgrid. You will be provided with the necessary links and information prior to the program taking place. Our virtual theater classes are active, fun, and participatory! All of our classes will include activities/breaks away from the computer. We will provide a combination of learning modules: both live workshops over zoom with teaching artists *and* pre-recorded workshop videos from teaching artists.

# of Students in Class: 15-20 students. There is a Director, Movement Coach, and 1 Teaching Assistant Intern.

Experience Expectations: Previous acting experience is suggested for this program.

Sample Daily Schedule:

9am-9:20am- Welcome, Challenges & Warm Ups (Zoom)
9:20-9:25- 5 minute Break
9:25am-9:55am- Rotation Workshop A (Zoom Break out Rooms)
9:55am-10:10am- 15 minute Break
10:10am-10:40am- Rotation Workshop B (Zoom Break out Rooms)
10:40am-10:45am- 5 minute Break
10:45am-12:00pm –Rehearsal, Asynchronous project set up, and Acknowledgements
