Program Type: While this program culminates in a performance, it is rooted in process. Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process
- Design & build props, costume & set pieces
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes
Pick Up/Drop Off Info: Pick up/Drop off at Madison Opera (335 W Mifflin St). Families will only need to park on the first day for orientation and the last day to see the final sharing.
# of Students: 25-30 students. There are 2 professional teaching artists, 1 Teaching Assistant & 1 High School Intern.
Experience Expectations: We welcome students of all experience & ability levels to register.
