Class Description: Ever wonder what superheroes do when they aren’t saving the world? As your favorite caped crusader (or one of your own creation), learn to use your powers, keep your identity hidden, and save the world!

Program Type: Our one-week programs focus on process over product. The theater skills gained will not only prepare them for a final showcase, but also prepare them for life! Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process based on the theme of the class
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes

Pick Up/Drop Off Information: Pick up & Drop off will be at the Henry Street entrance of Overture Center. Families will only need to park on the first day for a 15 minute orientation and the last day to see the final sharing.

# of Students in Class: 25-30 students. There are 2 professional teaching artists, 1 Teaching Assistant Intern and 1 High School Intern.

Experience Expectations: We welcome students of all experience and ability levels to register.

12:30 – 12:45 Refocusing Activity
12:45 – 2:45 Large/small groups rehearsal, character creation, showcase prep, etc.

Final Class Sharing: August 21, 3:00pm, Rotunda Stage in Overture Center. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
