Class Description: Journey back and forth through time! Become a part of history, or create the future. Work with your fellow time travelers to solve mysteries, make discoveries, and become famous characters.
Program Type: Our one-week programs focus on process over product. The theater skills gained will not only prepare them for a final showcase, but also prepare them for life! Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process based on the theme of the class
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes
Pick Up/Drop Off Information: Pick up & Drop off information TBA. Families will only need to park on the first day for a 15 minute orientation and the last day to see the final sharing.
# of Students in Class: 10-13 students. There are 1 professional teaching artist and 1 Teaching Assistant Intern.
Experience Expectations: We welcome students of all experience and ability levels to register.

9:00 – 10:00 Morning Warm ups/ Ensemble Games
10:00 – 10:15 Snack/Free Play – We are a nut free camp!
10:15 – 11:00 Morning Rotation 1 (class splits in half)
11:00 – 11:45 Morning Rotation 2 (class splits in half)
11:45 – 12:00 Group games/reflection
12:00 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 12:45 Refocusing Activity
12:45 – 2:45 Large/small groups rehearsal, character creation, showcase prep, etc.
2:45 – 3:00 Clean-up, Acknowledgements
3:00 Dismissal
Final Class Sharing: August 14, location & time: TBA. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
