Class Description: Join us for a week of music, creativity, and more! Sing new tunes, enjoy dance parties, and tell stories through song.

Program Type: Our one-week programs focus on process over product. The theater skills gained will not only prepare them for a final showcase, but also prepare them for life! Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process based on the theme of the class
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes

Pick Up/Drop Off Information: The entire program will take place at Bethel Lutheran Church (312 Wisconsin Avenue) in downtown Madison. CTM families may NOT use the parking lot, not even for a quick drop off/pick up. They must find parking elsewhere and walk their child to the building. Pick up and drop off will happen in the parking lot foyer, where students and families will be met by the CTM teaching staff each day. The drop off for the first day of the program will be in the Emmaus Room in Bethel Lutheran Church, followed by a brief orientation for parents.

# of Students in Class: 20-24 students. There are 2 professional teaching artists, 1 college aged Teaching Assistant Intern and 1 high school intern.

Experience Expectations: We welcome students of all experience and ability levels to register.

Typical Daily Schedule:
12:15 – 12:30 Check In
12:30 – 12:45 Warm ups/Ensemble Games
12:45 – 1:15 Rotation 1 (class splits)
1:15 – 2:00 Rotation 2 (class splits)
2:00 – 2:15 Snack/Free Play – We are a nut free camp!
2:15 – 3:45 Large/small group rehearsal, character creation, showcase prep, etc.
3:45 – 4:00 Cool Down
4:00 Dismissal

Final Class Sharing: July 10, 3:30pm, MMoCA Lecture Hall. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
